Innovative one-handed Windows 8 keyboard design
According to WMpoweruser, Microsoft may be coming out with a one-handed, arc keyboard design for their Windows 8 Mobile platform. For those of you with full touch-screen devices, you probably have noticed that it is quite hard to type messages one-handed with your phone. This new design is reminiscent of the old T9 style of typing, as the picture seems to indicate a requirement of a multiple button taps to complete a word.

Microsoft gives Windows 8 developers a head start on app submissions
Are you a developer? Are you preparing an app for the Windows Store for Windows 8? Is your app a “great” app? If you answered yes to all those questions, then Microsoft will be able to help you get your apps in before everyone else. Developer Evangelist Matt Harrington is offering developers who develop a “great” app a fast track to get the app submitted into the Store first. Furthermore, these acknowledged few will get help from a Microsoft engineer to make it truly a great app. Although we don’t exactly know when everyone will be able to submit the app, it should be rather soon as the OS is slated for release Q4 of 2012 or Q1 of 2013.
Windows 8 to only have 6 versions

As we approach the Windows 8 Open Beta (February 29) and the release of Windows 8 later this year, more and more information is dug up. Today, PCBeta discovered that on HP’s FTP regarding a certain driver, 6 versions (including the difference between x32 and x64) of Windows 8 was listed as being supported. Although the list is fixed now, this should be accurate as Microsoft has expressed its wishes to create a more unified OS to improve user experience across many devices.

When Microsoft’s Windows 8 was announced, we expected for tablets coming from Microsoft, or at least running Microsoft’s OS.
