Marketing BB10 – Will RIM’s Outlook Remain Grim?

January 30th, 2013 marks the day of the launch of RIM’s BlackBerry 10. With years of developing the BlackBerry 10 (BB10) operating system and smartphones, Research In Motion (RIM) has finally brought them to the market. The new operating system is smoother than iOS and offers flexibility like Android; but the operating system alone is not enough to make the product a success. In order for RIM to capitalize on its innovation, the BlackBerry 10 handsets must sell!

  • BlackBerry 10, please surprise me

I’m liking what I’m seeing with BlackBerry’s leaks. Both the keyboard and full-touch based BlackBerry 10 devices are looking slick but I wish they’d stop with the leaks. BlackBerry might be trying to get attention from consumers, public and investors alike to their new products and tease us ahead of their presentation. But if the public feels like its already seen their device, what is there to look forward to during RIM’s keynote?

Live hands-on video of the BlackBerry 10 L-series, gets compared to the iPhone 5

A few hours ago, we showed photos of the leaked BlackBerry 10 L-series. Now, the folks at Tinhte have come up with a live demonstration of this BlackBerry 10 device. They do a quick comparison of it to the BlackBerry 10 Alpha devices, and the iPhone 5. This is the first live demonstration of it’s kind, and I’m very excited especially with how smooth and responsive the new BlackBerry 10 operating system is!

  • BlackBerry 10 L-Series: Absolutely the sexiest BlackBerry device I have seen to date!

WOW! I’m just stunned at how good the BlackBerry 10 L-Series looks. This leak seems pretty legit, especially with the back cover looking near similar to the tease we saw on the information page a few days back. I think RIM has finally gotten their designs right, and making a phone that just dazzles and amazes. I’m not sure if I can wait for the N-series, the L-series looks pretty darn good!

RIM BlackBerry 10 Tease, information page nicely redesigned!

With the official launch of BlackBerry 10 inching ever so close, RIM has upped their game in marketing for their evolutionary BlackBerry 10 product line.

Familiar, yet Forgotten Mobile Brands Fighting for 1st Place

The mobile technology market is highly competitive and the dynamics of the industry are changing very quickly. From Nokia and Motorola’s dominance 10 years ago to BlackBerry’s big fad that happened just 3-5 years ago, their shareholder value and market share have plunged since. But just because Apple and Samsung are currently locked in a  dominant fight for first place, it does not mean a comeback for other companies isn’t possible.

Like I said, the mobile market is very dynamic and both BlackBerry, Nokia and Microsoft wants to come back with a fight. They aren’t coming back to settle for 3rd or 4th place, they are also contending to be number one!

RIM to officially launch BlackBerry 10 on January 30th, 2013

Exciting news today for BlackBerry 10 fans, believers, and well even haters! It’s been known for some time that RIM will be releasing their BlackBerry 10 devices during the first quarter of 2013. Today, an announcement was made stating that RIM will be launching their BlackBerry 10 generation smart phones on January 30th, 2013.

BlackBerry 10: RIM Taking BlackBerry 10 to the top, visits Canadian Government Officials with goodies

“This is the start of a new era”, a fantastic title to highlight what’s to come to RIM’s new platform, BlackBerry 10. RIM has invited many key government officials in Canada to a special event on November 7th, which will showcase the next-generation BlackBerry 10 operating system. I believe that this is a step in the right direction, as it will help bring good publicity, and hopefully some sort of hype towards BlackBerry 10.

    BlackBerry 10 L-Series leak

Today unveiled by sources at holatelcel.com, a video showing the supposed finished form of the BlackBerry 10 L-Series. This device seems quite reminiscent of the Alpha A and B developer devices released by RIM. From what I can see from these videos, it look great! I’m definitely looking forward to its release in Q1 2013.

BlackBerry 10 Aristo Leaked! Quad-Core action spotted

Wow I must say I am impressed by these leaked BlackBerry 10 Aristo specs. It just “screams” powerful! I’m glad that RIM isn’t making the same mistake as before (putting a Bold 9000 processor into their Torch 9800 series (a 2- year old processor at the time)).
