Earlier on, we reported that all pre-A5 devices being able to jailbreak in iOS 5.0.1. Afterwards, pod2g, along with Planetbeing, MuscleNerd, and P0sixninja, formed the scene’s “dream team” and worked on the A5 jailbreak together. The results? They have successfully performed an untethered jailbreak on an iPhone 4S. According to pod2g, it should only be a few days before it is released for the general public to finally take Apple’s shackles off your A5 devices.
