We all know that Apple’s going to reveal their next iPhone in a few days, but China Unicom may have gave us some early information that everyone would be pleased at: the iPhone 5 will be using China Unicom’s 21Mbps HSPA+ data connection. At Macworld Asia, China Unicom’s Deputy Director Huang Wenlian made a presentation and included the slide above. If this is true, Apple’s new CEO Tim Cook will deliver to the world a handset with 3x the data speed of its predecessor next week, giving users quick browsing and app downloading. Better bring out your lucky charms and start hoping!
