Tritton won the exclusive rights to make Xbox 360 wireless headphones, and now the company is ready to show off their creations; the Mad Catz Detonator, Mad Catz Devastator, and Mad Catz Warhead 7.1. These headphones do not need to be connected to a Xbox 360 controller for you to be able to voice chat, as they instead get everything they need from a base station connected to the console. Reportedly, the base station is able to provide Dolby surround sound to 4 headsets at the same time, in addition to Xbox Live audio chat with its 5.8GHz bandwidth. The Warhead headset comes with an additional battery that can be docked to the base station, while the more budget friendly Devastator comes without surround sound and rechargeable batteries. Prices are yet to be determined, but should be under $300 USD (€200 EUR) when they’re released this holiday season.
